Harry is Director of Operations and Chief pilot of Horizon. Harry founded Horizon Helicopters, Inc. in 1982. He is our Part 135 Charter Pilot and is an experienced Power and Pipeline Surveyor.
Harry also specializes in Aerial video, photo and still photography

Dave has been employed for 18 years at Horizon as a Helicopter Pilot after 20 years service from Delaware State Police as Lieutenant of the Aviation Unit. Dave is a Part 135 Charter Pilot, and an experienced Power and Pipeline Pilot. Dave was inducted into the Delaware Aviation Hall of Fame in 2004.

HAROLD LANDFEAR

Harold has been employed for 11 years at Horizon as a Helicopter Pilot, and flight instructor. Harold teaches our ground-school training for private, commercial and CFI. Harold flies a Kitfox IV Airplane that he built and is currently building a Vans RV-8.  In addition to his CFI, Harold received his Private and Commercial Ratings with Horizon Helicopters.

Single Engine, Single Engine Seaplane, Kitfox IV Airplane, Vans RV-8 Airplane.

Skip is employed at Horizon as a Helicopter Pilot after 20 years service from Delaware State Police as Sergeant of the Aviation Unit. He is a Part 135 Charter Pilot. Skip specializes in aerial photography and video.

JUDY GRIFFITH

Judy is the Vice President/Treasurer since 1982. Aside from being the Drug Program Administrator, she oversees accounts Receivables/Payables and is Director of Advertising.

 

JIM CARLISLE

DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE

PAMA/SAE Certified Aviation Maintenance Engineer

Jim has over 23 years experience as a certified A&P Mechanic. His experience includes the Bell UH-1H, UH1N, 206/407 Series, MD500, Sikorsky S-76, S92, MH60, and the S64 Sky crane.

Julie Keating joined Horizon’s team in January of  07.  Previously she was a licensed insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance.  Julie handles all the scheduling as well as various other office duties
